Workshop IUAV

The workshop “Paraíso, hoje. – Postcards from Venice Paradise” is organized by the curators in collaboration with a group of professors from the IUAV – Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, for the Master’s course in Sustainable Urban Design & Performance (Master Architecture). The workshop invites participants to reflect on the imaginary of paradise as a metaphor for thinking about the landscape. From religious heritage to the notion of ecology, it encourages debate around the idea of a common space in harmony with nature – without renouncing disciplinary knowledge and responsibility. An exchange of ideas and experiences on how we design landscapes and paradises, using images generated through a specific Open Call addressed to IUAV community.
